Symapthies on the ironing, Lynn! I dealt with hubbies suits and dress shirts for nearly 15 years. Then he wanted starched shirts. Hurray! I took them to the cleaners. Still had to press his trousers. Here in Hawaii he wears dress trousers and an Aloha shirt to work. He loves it and so do I! His shirts still go to the cleaners:-) I got used to it and I'm not willing to give it up.
I very much miss both you and Carol! I'm looking forward to getting together. I'll send you an email with my phone number.

I've got Texas in my blood. What others consider hot is warm to me. Fred's from Arkansas - so same thing - Southern swelter, baby! We probably won't crank on the AC until the temps hit mid-to-high 80's here. I'm lovin' having the windows open at night.

And yes, we'll definitely have to trade cell #'s and get together in Dallas.

Well... just another type of uniform. I am still waiting for that novel you promised to write. I am running out of good reads again. (that's what happens when you are a speed reader)

;-)

Hey, Carol!!! Oh cool, Morag is coming? Yippie! We must make time for at least a mini get-together. :)

I know. I miss Hawaii too. But I don't miss the expense. I joke with my parents when it's cold out or when they've got the AC turned way down that I'm just an island girl at heart. :)

Cyn: if only he could get away with khakis! But it's suit and tie, at least 4 days a week. They do have Aloha Friday, even if they insist on calling it casual day. ;)

Small world, Lynn. I'm on several loops with Marilyn from the Writing Playground. Hoping to see you both at Nat'l in Dallas. Morag and I are roomies!

I've always loved Spring. There's just something so FRESH about it - new growth and all that. LOL! But I still miss Hawaii and it's been nearly 3 yrs since we left there. *sigh*

Hi, Loribelle! I was thinking about you when those tornadoes went through your area a few weeks ago. Glad you're okay. :)

Hey, laugh away about the suits. I don't blame you. Uniforms are so much easier. :) But, the man is seriously happy being a civilian, so that's good. I'll keep coordinating suits so long as I get to write. :)

It's wonderful spring has arrived, isn't it? We've been grilling a lot. :)

I laughed over the suits. Sorry. :( I'm glad when my husband got off active duty he went straight to the police department...only difference in uniform is print/color! Same wash, wear, starch, iron as usual. ALthough I have say as much as I hated the new ACU's when he switched to them, they are even better! Wash and no iron. It's almost worth going back on active duty lol.
