Facing the wall doesn't bother you? I have my desk beside a window, but facing from one side of the room to the other. There are bookshelves and a daybed. I used to write facing a wall, and it didn't bother me at all, but I think the key in looking back is that I was beside a window. I like to be able to look outside. :) Hey, Loribelle. But I have a laptop and haul it all over the house with me, so sometimes I write in the kitchen or dining room or wherever. I really like to write out back on the patio too, but it's way too hot right now. In a couple of months I might start that again. And I have to have music. At first that was just to drown out the kids lol, but now I'm so used to it that I can't write without music. I mostly write in my office.
